CUUATS staff would like to thank all those who participated in the IL130/High Cross Corridor Study. Your input was invaluable and essential to the success of the Plan's implementation.

December 14, 2006 Open House

44 people attended the Open House to review the Draft IL130/High Cross Road Corridor Plan. Attendees had the opportunity to see summary displays, review the full document, ask questions and make comments.

October 17, 2006 Public Workshop

We had about 70 participants in this workshop to introduce the Preferred Alternative and to conduct a Design Preferences Survey.

June 7, 2006 Public Workshop

We had 45 participants in this follow up to the February Strings and Ribbons workshop. Participants were shown how the scenarios they created could influence future conditions in the study area, and were given the opportunity to rank their preferences for future conditions and comment on the different scenarios.

February 4, 2006 Public Workshop

Over 60 local residents participated in a hands-on process, Strings and Ribbons, to garner ideas for solving current and anticipated future transportation issues in the study area.

September 21, 2004 Public Meeting

Representatives from the Illinois Department of Transportation, City of Urbana, and Champaign County Regional Planning Commission presented facts about the Corridor Study planning process and what the next steps will be for the study.
