LRMP Planning Process

LRMP

The process for creating the LRMP is anticipated to last through October of 2009.

Project Timeline

The basic phases of the project include:

  • Existing Conditions and Trends
  • Policy Framework
  • Land Use Map Creation
  • Implementation Plan

During the process, we are anticipating 18 Steering Committee Meetings, 1 public workshop, and 1 public hearing.

County Environmental Land Use Committee and County Board will have oversight of the project, with approximately 6 opportunities for them to approve different sections of the draft document.
