new LIHEAP Winter Heating Assistance starts September 1 - May 31, or until funds have been exhausted.

Appointments can be made by walk-in starting September 4, at the CCRPC office located at Brookens Center, 1776 E. Washington St., Urbana or by phone at 217-384-1226.

Appointments are tightly scheduled – if you are late, you will need to be re-scheduled.

Summer Cooling Program - In response to high summer temperatures, the State of Illinois will implement a LIHEAP Summer Energy Assistance Program for eligible person(s) and/or households. The program will run from July 11 – 27 or until funding has been exhausted.

All appointments must be made in person at the CCRPC office at the Brookens Administration Center at 1776 East Washington Street in Urbana.
