The Champaign County Complete Count Committee wants every resident in the county to know three important facts about the Census.

1. The Census counts every person in the United States regardless of age, sex, race, ethnicity, or citizenship. Temporary residents including college students are counted where they primarily reside on April 1, 2010.

2. The 2010 Census is 10 easy questions and takes only about 10 minutes of your time.

3. Your responses are confidential!!


What is the 2010 Census?

Every 10 years, the United States Census Bureau counts every person living in the United States. The first census of population was taken in 1790.

Why is the Census Important?

Census Questionnaire

Only a few simple questions are asked and the questionnaire can easily be returned by mail.

Secure and Safe

Individual information is protected and unrealeased for 72 years. Confidentiallity is a significant part of the Census.
