Understanding and Using the U.S. Census Bureau American Community Survey

The American Community Survey (ACS) is a nationwide continuous survey that is designed to provide communities with reliable and timely demographic, housing, social and economic data. In order to understand and use the data appropriately, the Census Bureau provides the Margin of Error (MOE) figure allowing users to determine the reliability of the figure.
