Economic Activities and Services

Major activities and services of the Economic Development Division are:

• Generate and coordinate economic development activities that will expand the County’s commercial and industrial tax base
• Assist new and existing business development
• Represent the Department and the RPC in economic development matters with neighboring communities, Economic Development Corporation, County Chamber and Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity
• Manage business loan programs
• Provide region with Tax Increment Financing District and Enterprise Zone expertise
