Interactive Maps
The Champaign County GIS Consortium has deployed it's first version of the GIS Webmap Public Interface for Champaign County, Illinois. The application can be accessed through the following link:
Functionality
Current functionality includes the ability to:
- add / remove layers with transparency controls
- add / remove historical aerial imagery with transparency controls
- search tax parcels by Parcel Identification Number (PIN)
- search tax parcels by address
- identify parcel, zoning, and control point information
- mark up map using drawing tools
- measure distance, area, and perimeter
The ability to mark up the map with text has been added to the drawing tools set.
Map printing is now available and supported for most browsers! Data displayed in the information reporting tables is not included in the print function; however, it can be copied and pasted into a document through the users clipboard.
