Three-to-Five Year Olds/Head Start Champaign County Head Start services, including meals, are free for children three to five-years-old. Part-day, school-day, and full-day options are available. Transportation is provided for part-day and for school-day classes based on availability.In part-day Head Start, families have the option of their child attending a morning or afternoon session. In school-day Head Start, priority is given to families who are working and/or attending school. Full-day services include child care for parents who are working and/or attending school. Full-day Head Start is for children whose parents are working and/or attending school. Families using the full-day program must pay for child care services, which is based on family size and income.
