Sgt. Jim Clark
Sgt. Jim Clark
began his law enforcement career in 1986 with the Douglas County Sheriff's
Office. In 1989 he began working for the Tuscola Police Department where he
served as a patrol officer and DARE officer for six years. He was hired by the Champaign Police Department in 1995, and is currently assigned to the
training and development division where he supervises the Field Training
Program, coordinates all department training, and manages all grants for the
department. Sgt. Clark is a founding member of the crime scene unit at CPD and
has supervised the unit since 1999.
Sgt. Clark has an Associates degree from Parkland College and is certified as a juvenile officer, field training officer, breath alcohol operator, crime scene technician and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing instructor.
