Proposed Transportation Improvements

The following maps detail the proposed vision for the year 2035 for roadways, bicycles and pedestrians, and transit, rail and air travel in the urbanized area. These vision maps represent large scale regionally significant projects that would most likely seek federal funding assistance in order to complete the project. For additional details on each vision map, please see the full text in the LRTP document.

A separate map has been created to highlight the fiscally constrained regionally significant transportation projects in the urbanized area. The term fiscally constrained refers to projects which have guaranteed or reasonably guaranteed funding to ensure completion of the project. Additional details regarding fiscally constrained projects are available in the full text of the LRTP document.

Fiscally Constrained Projects

The tables and maps listed below detail the proposed local projects which are scheduled to occur between 2010-2019 according to the 2010-2013 Transportation Improvement Program for the urbanized area and municipal Capital Improvement Programs. CUUATS staff is not responsible for the implementation of the local projects, but feel it's important to list them in the LRTP as part of the overall improvements to the transportation network.
