The following member agency projects are related to certain CUUATS projects:


Champaign Moving Forward
Champaign Moving Forward Champaign Moving Forward is the Transportation Master Plan (TMP) for the City of Champaign and its projected growth area. The Plan creates a vision for a multi-modal transportation system that helps achieve the City's goals of sustainable growth. Champaign Moving Forward considers all transportation modes, including cars, public transportation, bicycling, and walking. Champaign Moving Forward incorporated elements of the LRTP 2025, and elements of Champaign Moving Forward were incorporated into the Staley-Rising Corridor Study.

Champaign Tomorrow
Champaign Tomorrow Champaign Tomorrow is an update of the City of Champaign's Comprehensive Plan. Champaign Tomorrow is a community-wide effort to plan for the physical growth and development of the City of Champaign. The Comprehensive Plan is a document that includes principles, policies, and maps to guide where development should go and what it should be like.

Champaign Trails Plan

Champaign Trails Plan
The Champaign Trails Plan is a joint project between the City of Champaign and the Champaign Park District. The Trails Plan is driven by the increasing demands for recreation and active transportation, and aims to be proactive and strategic in protecting critical natural areas and creating a sustainable community. Champaign Trails Plan efforts complement implementation efforts of the Champaign County Greenways and Trails Plan.

Cunningham Avenue Beautification Plan
Cunningham Avenue Beautification Plan The goal of the City of Urbana's Cunningham Avenue Beautification Plan was to identify ways to improve the corridor as an urban environment, increasing redevelopment potential, multi-modal use, and connection to Downtown Urbana. The scope of this project included concept development for the Cunningham Avenue corridor between Airport Road and University Avenue. Elements from this project were incorporated into the University Avenue Corridor Study plan.

Curtis Road Interchange Master Plan
Curtis Road Interchange Master Plan The Curtis Road Interchange Master Plan is an area plan to guide development around the City of Champaign’s new interchange at Curtis Road and Interstate 57, which opened in 2008. The vision for the Curtis Road Interchange Area is to create a place to live, work, and socialize. Each quadrant will have quieter developments located closer to the edges, while busier developments are placed in the interior, closer to the Interstate. Elements from the Curtis Road Interchange Master Plan were incorporated into the Staley-Rising Corridor Study.

Mobility Implementation Plan (miPLAN)
miPlan miPLAN's purpose is to find out what mobility options Champaign, Urbana, and Savoy want as a community, both now and in the future, and then craft a plan to bring those options to fruition. CUUATS staff is currently serving on the steering committee for this member agency project.
